Free SEO & Keyword Research Tools

Alongside my practice projects above, I built these four tools to help write better-optimized content and research keywords more confidently — a Keyword Density Checker, a Meta Tag Analyzer, a KGR (Keyword Golden Ratio) Calculator, and a Keyword Difficulty Estimator. Everything runs instantly in your browser.

1

Write Search-Friendly Content

Check keyword usage before you publish, instead of guessing.

2

Find Easier Keywords to Rank For

Use KGR and KD to spot low-competition opportunities.

3

Fix Titles & Descriptions

Make sure your pages don't get cut off in Google search results.

Keyword Density Checker

Paste your content and a target keyword to see how often it appears and whether the density is in a healthy range.

Meta Title & Description Analyzer

Check whether your title and meta description fit Google's recommended limits, with a live search preview.

0 / 60 characters recommended
0 / 160 characters recommended

KGR (Keyword Golden Ratio) Calculator

KGR = allintitle results ÷ monthly search volume. It helps find long-tail keywords that are easier to rank for. Search your keyword on Google as allintitle:your keyword to get the first number, and check monthly search volume in a free keyword tool for the second.

Keyword Difficulty (KD) Estimator

A simplified, educational KD score based on the top-ranking pages you research manually. Look at Google's top 10 results for your keyword and enter rough averages below. (This is a learning estimate, not a substitute for tools like Ahrefs/SEMrush.)

How These Tools Work

A quick explanation of each metric, for beginners and clients alike.

Keyword Density

The percentage of times your keyword appears compared to your total word count. Too low and Google may not understand your topic; too high (over ~3%) can look like spam. Aim for roughly 1–2.5%.

Meta Title & Description

These are the blue link and grey snippet shown in Google search results. Titles over ~60 characters and descriptions over ~160 characters often get cut off, so trimming them improves click-through rate.

KGR (Keyword Golden Ratio)

A method for finding "easy win" long-tail keywords. A KGR under 0.25 (with search volume under ~250/month) suggests a keyword that's realistic to rank for, even on a newer site.

Keyword Difficulty (KD)

An estimate of how hard a keyword is to rank for, based on the authority and backlink strength of the pages already ranking. Lower scores mean more realistic opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these SEO tools really free?

Yes. All four tools run directly in your browser — there's no signup, no limits, and no data sent to a server.

Do I need Ahrefs or SEMrush to use these?

No, though the KGR and KD tools work best alongside a free keyword-volume source (like Google Keyword Planner) and a quick Google search for "allintitle:" counts.

Can you help me apply this to my own website?

Yes — this is exactly the kind of keyword research and on-page SEO work I offer. Get in touch and I'll help you put it into practice.
